Energy: ENEA researcher on the board of Hydrogen Europe Research
ENEA researcher Viviana Cigolotti, 41, has been elected to the board of Hydrogen Europe Research, an association that brings together 108 international research institutions and is dedicated to energy development in the field of hydrogen. Viviana Cigolotti will be responsible for the Technical Committee in the field of hydrogen end-uses for stationary and industrial applications.
“The role of the board member”, explains Viviana Cigolotti, “is to provide support for the development of the European hydrogen programme, giving voice to the research and innovation needs in the field of stationary applications and the use of hydrogen in industry. The Board's activities will be geared towards coordinating with the members of Hydrogen Europe Research and those from industry participating in Hydrogen Europe, as well as the European Commission and the Programme Officers of the Clean Hydrogen partnership.
The Clean Hydrogen Partnership is the European Commission's point of reference for research and innovation and the development of the hydrogen supply chain, and aims to bring European research and industry to the forefront of global competition in the field of renewable hydrogen production and utilisation technologies.
Viviana Cigolotti works in the ENEA Laboratory of Energy Storage, Batteries and Technologies for the Production and Use of Hydrogen, which is part of the Energy Production, Storage and Use Division of the Energy Technologies and Renewable Sources Department.
